Royal Floria Putrajaya 2018

This is my first year attending Royal Floria Putrajaya; I got to know about this program from Facebook's Event and kind of excited to see what and how flowers are being displayed here.

I bought the ticket online and arrived before 9 am. After passing the main entrance, I was greeted by Chrysanthemums, Celosia, Roses and many-many more. Some of the plants began to wilt while some showed signs of rain-related injuries (or from strong water current).

I really like the contrast of red and green display here.

From the main entrance, I turned to the Royal Garden which is one of the main attractions. From there, I managed to visit Miniature Garden and Wonder Garden before I had to return home.

I find this to be an inspirational design.

My point?

I am excited with the flower diversity displayed in Royal Floria Putrajaya 2018 and I learnt a lot. Buying ticket online made it very easy for me to enter and there're plenty of food and beverages being sold to appease one's hunger and quench one's thirst. There's also booths that sell plants and gardening tools. More importantly, the layout inside the exhibition is wheelchair-friendly.

This is my first time seeing a purple rose.

Calla lily...pity that this flower is not being labelled as many visitors were asking for them.

My Advice

If any of you are interested to attend;

• Online ticket. Buying ticket online is strongly recommended as you just need to print and show it at the main entrance.
• Umbrella. Very useful regardless whether it is raining or sunny 😉.
• Drinking water. While there are plenty of stalls that sell food and beverages, bringing your own water is very convenient.
• Walking shoes. This exhibition is quite large and wearing a pair of comfortable shoes prevent any injuries that could make your visit less enjoyable.

My Critic

I have only one critic: bad parking design. Empty lots are allocated for parking but there is no guidance...where's the Entrance? Exit? Parking limit? Due to this, I've had difficulty to exit as people parked without thinking of car's movement.

In conclusion

I want to say thank you to the organizer (Perbadanan Putrajaya) for organizing this event. Hopefully this event will continue in the upcoming years. If any of you are interested, this event started from 25th August 2018 till 2 September 2018 from 9 am - 10.30 pm (monday - thursday) or from 9 am - 12 midnight (friday - sunday) at Putrajaya, Malaysia.
