English/ Malay A good quality gardening tools are an asset to a gardener, especially when the tools is cared very well. I just cleaned my tools and I feel the difference between using a rusty secateur in comparison with a not-so-rusty secateur.

English/ Malay I have written about seedling trays before and I have tried them all (I'm curious); but there's a relatively new one that attracted my attention: Seedling Tray with Lid. When I first saw it, the price was a bit higher for my budget, so I waited. Months later, the price went down significantly so I grabbed the chance to buy five from sweetshop.my ; I can say that it was one of my best purchases yet. I've used it for three cycles of seedlings and decided to buy 10 more from different shop, the packaging delivery was very poor so I decided not to name the shop. Penulis telahpun mencuba kesemuanya namun ada satu jenis tapak semaian yang menarik perhatian penulis; Tapak Semaian dengan Penutup. Before that, just a few reminders; Reminder #1 : Before using any of the sprays, test it by spraying a little bit on a leaf and observe for 1-2 days; if there is no change on the leaf, that means the spray is safe to be used. However, if there's damage on the leaf, most probably the spray was too concentrated thus  it is better to dilute it so as not to harm the plant. English/ Malay Fun fact : Many people don't like to eat lady's finger due to the slime but the slime of lady's finger (a.k.a mucilage) binds cholesterol and bile acid carrying toxins from the liver, and carries them out of the body ( Gamede et al., 2014 ). One of my favourite food is steamed/boiled okra with sambal belacan (a mixture of chili and shrimp paste) 😋 . So when I saw an advertisement for green and red okras' seeds from Mango Garden , I jumped at the opportunity to grow okra myself. When the seeds arrived, I was impressed with the packaging; it's beautiful yet environmental-friendly.  I was also given two plant labels which was very thoughtful of the seller, so thumbs up 👍 Mango Garden. Melayu/ English Fakta Menarik : Ramai yang tidak suka makan bendi kerana berlendir; namun lendir (juga dikenali sebagai mucilage ) mengikat kolesterol dan jus hempedu yang membawa toksin daripada hati, lalu membawa mereka keluar daripada badan ( Gamede et al., 2014 ). Ada tiga kedai kegemaran saya; Jaring (Subang Jaya), Kak Nik Ikan Patin (Pantai Dalam) dan Restoran D'Limau Nipis (Bangi). Malay /English Imagine, there's this plant you want to grow. You've got the seeds; you soak them, plant them and tend to them daily. You watch them every single day yet you see no changes. Sounds familiar? I'm pretty sure you are not alone in that situation, unless you are one of the lucky few who can grow anything. I've also had my shares of failure to germinate seeds but to quote Edison; From these failures, I've learnt how to germinate seed better (and had better success rate).
